Aquakultor

Aquakultor, a game that simulates sustainable fish farming

Create your farm, grow your fish, select your best lines and help your farm prosper while monitoring your ecological impact. Welcome to Aquakultor, an aquaculture simulation game created from research work on interactions between fish selection criteria and environmental impact, available for smartphones and tablets on Android and iOS.

Aquakultor is a game that simulates sustainable aquaculture, created from the original idea of Mathieu Besson, a scientist with the GenAqua research team belonging to the joint research unit GABI (Animal Genetics and Integrative Biology) and François Allal, a scientist at MARBEC (Marine Biodiversity, Exploitation and Conservation) Joint Research Unit. It was developed by the company "The One Man Army Game Studio".

It is available as an application for smartphones and tablets running on Android or iOS. The game is inspired by the zootechnical and genetic knowledge acquired by Ifremer of Palavas-Les-Flots on the sea bass, and the scientific results presented by Mathieu Besson in his doctoral dissertation on the modeling of economic and environmental gains associated with genetic progress.
