Today, tools necessary to address genetic issues evolve rapidly and a major preoccupation consists in the study of the concepts and the development of innovative tools for research.

The survival kit makes it possible to analyse very large files, to treat complex models including time-depending variables, and to predict random effects and estimate variance components
Pedig is a Fortran application specifically developed for the analysis of large populations
These programs use different aspects of the Weitzman (1992) method to measure population diversity if distances between populations are known
The following files provide genome annotation tracks that can be used as external sources of annotation data in genome navigators (UCSC, Ensembl)
