14e International Havemeyer Horse Genome Workshop

The call for papers will be open from September 1 to November 30, 2023, for your proposals for oral communications, posters, reviews, round tables and workshops.

The 14th Havemeyer International Workshop on the horse genome will take place from May 12 to 15, 2024, in Caen (Normandy, France).

The objectives are:

Create shared resources enabling equine research, including functional genomic annotation, creation of reference genomes and pangenomes
Share research results in equine genetics and genomics from research laboratories around the world (America, Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa).
This meeting was launched for the first time in 1995. It is held every two years, alternating between the USA and European countries: Lexington (KY, USA), San Diego (CA, USA), Uppsala (SE), Brisbane (AU), Pretoria, (SA), Dublin (IR), Lake Tahoe (CA, USA), Cambridge (UK), Minneapolis (MN, USA), Azores (PO), Hanover (GE), Pavia (IT), Ithaca (NY, USA) and in France for the first time in Caen, Normandy in 2024.*

The workshop is organized by GABI UMR1313 (INRAE Jouy-en-Josas) in partnership with CAGT - UMR 5288 (CNRS - Université Toulouse III Paul Sabatier) and LABEO Frank Duncombe (Caen).

The call for papers will be open from September 1 to November 30, 2023. Around 80 people will be invited to present papers.
